Upstate #2

“Upstate #2” by Stephen Pellnat

Following the catastrophic events of Upstate 1, Ryan is forced to pull together the meager scraps available to her for an ongoing life in her hometown. This book kaleidoscopically alternates between the past and the present, as mysteries come to a head and the repairs that can be made are attempted. Trust is broken and we see that once you’re involved in someone else’s problems, you cannot just pull yourself out without consequence.
