DAREDEVIL EPIC COLLECT TP TO DARE THE DEVIL

(W/A) Frank Miller, Various (CA) Frank Miller”One of the greatest comic sagas in history begins here, as Frank Miller takes the reins of Daredevil!

One of the most influential runs in not just Marvel history, but all comics history begins with the arrival of Frank Miller as the driving creative force of Daredevil. Miller remade the mythos of the Man Without Fear, first by illustrating Roger McKenzie’s scripts with art partner Klaus Janson, and then by writing his own instantly-iconic tales. Miller grinds the grit of New York City’s streets into every page, blending super heroics with dark tone of hardboiled crime. He also brings with him Elektra-the assassin with surprising connections to Matt Murdock’s past-and The Hand-a group of eerie and unrelenting killer ninjas. Elektra’s tempestuous relationship with Matt Murdock was an instant hit in the ’80s. It’s just as compelling today and forms the unforgettable backdrop of Daredevil’s high-stakes war with the Kingpin.
